Friends, fans, and supporters of Boy Kong,

Lend us your cat's ears.

Recently deaccessioned from a private corporate collection, Boy Kong's 900 Lives is now available for purchase.

These works are now being offered by the original buyer, who has had them adorn his Canadian boardroom these last 9 years.

900 Lives is comprised of 100 hand-cut, silkscreened, painted and resined wood pieces in the shape of a Japaneses Maneki-Neko, or "beckoning cat". You may recognize this figure --- though a longtime staple in Japanese homes and businesses seeking good fortune, the Maneki-Neko has become a cultural icon across the globe.

Boy took great care when crafting each piece, and they look nearly identical-- as close as the human hand can get, but there are small inconsistencies to confirm that the artist was indeed present.

The desire to recreate but inability to exactly replicate is what makes art so wonderful. Each edition feels like a ticking millisecond as the cat's paw beckons back and forth, a unique action that, when strung together, makes up a larger movement.

It's our hope that these work brings you joy and good fortune too.

-Avi, Boy, and the rest of the team
