Since 2014, Gitler &____ has been collaborating with the National Audubon Society on the Audubon Mural Project, a celebrated public art initiative that draws attention to the preservation of threatened birds and the habitats on which they depend.
Over the past decade more than 120 murals have been produced, featuring over 195 bird species. The Audubon Mural Project now has companion projects across the United States and almost a dozen countries.
