Gloaming in Wyoming
Amanda PDF with CV
Gloaming in Wyoming is a collection of recent paintings by Amanda Marrè Brown made during an artist residency at the Jentel Foundation in March, 2021. Situated along the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains, Brown spent four weeks observing the mountain light and transitioning spring weather. The resulting body of work not only documents the changing landscape, but also leads the viewer into elusive and transcendent moments of looking.
