JASON COVERT
Biography
Jason Covert (b. 1974, Cape Cod) is a photographer, videographer, sculptor, illustrator, graphic designer, and cat lover. His work has been exhibited at ArtBridge, NYC; Hionas Gallery, NYC; Lu Magnus Gallery, NYC; LACDA Gallery, LA; The Museum of Russian Art, Jersey City; and with Art Basel, Miami (2012) and Scope NYC (2012/13). In 2014, Covert's short film "Excavation" was an official selection in the Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and he was named by Aesthetica as an Artist to Watch for the 2015 Art Prize. In 2016 he was a finalist for the Williams Prize in Drawing and was a selected artist for Dave Bown Projects. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
